The District Church Council recently endorsed the inaugural Board of Lutheran Community Services (LCS), another milestone in the merger of Lutheran Community Care (LCC) and Lutheran Disability Services (LDS) into one entity.

The Professional Standards Department is now planning a schedule of workshops for next year. Leaders who haven’t completed a workshop in 2017, 2018 or 2019, should plan to attend one in 2020.

Mental health and suicide awareness is not always an easy topic to discuss, but Tanunda Lutheran Home has opened up the channels of conversation by hosting a BE LOUD day, with funds being raised for Beyond Blue.

Tanunda Churches Complete Merger
Grace Lutheran Church Tanunda has officially become a new congregation, following a successful vote to merge two Tanunda-based churches, St John’s and St Paul’s.
