Cleve, in the centre of Eyre Peninsula, was the place to be on the weekend of June 25th – 26th, where Mission was the focus for the annual Eyre Peninsula Zone Conference.
The National Lutheran Principal Conference (NLPC) is a biennial event hosted by Lutheran Principals Australia (LPA). The Conference promotes spiritual and professional growth among principals and other leaders who serve in the Lutheran network of schools.
Centenary commemorations have been held in Central Australia, marking the death of Lutheran missionary Carl Strehlow. Pastor Strehlow died in 1922 at Horseshoe Bend Station on the Finke River.

Concordia Lutheran Church in Loxton recently celebrated their 26th anniversary with the launch of a history book, ‘Concord in Concordia’. Complied by historians Carla and Peter Margarey, the book was launched by Pastor Neville Kriewaldt.

Congregation members from St Andrews Lutheran Church in Glynde performed in a Passion Play just before Easter to an appreciative audience at Glynde Lutheran Homes. The play was also relayed digitally into the residential care home on site.
