Help bring joy this Christmas
Lutheran Community Care will bring hope to thousands of people in need this Christmas, thanks to kind and generous people like you.
If you would like to support the organisation in its mission, here are some ways that you can help.
Christmas Hampers
To help families on low income celebrate Christmas each year, Lutheran Community Care gifts more than 900 Christmas Hampers in Adelaide, the Barossa Valley and Alice Springs.
If you would like to make a donation to LCC’s Christmas Hampers, please see the list of items for its Blair Athol site and Barossa office. All donations are needed by the first week in December.
Did you know you can also help decorate LCC’s hamper boxes? This is perfect for a church craft group or a school art class. If you are interested, LCC will supply you with the boxes, which can be decorated as creatively as you like. For more information, please call Michelle or Ayen at Blair Athol on 8269 9300. If you live in the Barossa, please call 8562 2688.
Donations for Op Shops
It is expected many people will pass through Lutheran Community Care’s six op shops to purchase Christmas presents for loved ones. The op shops are currently in need of clothing, house hold goods, handbags, shoes and toys. For more information about LCC’s op shops, visit this webpage.
Christmas Appeal
You can make a donation to LCC’s Christmas Appeal online or you can keep a look out for the appeal letter which will be in churches in the next few weeks.
