LCC’s 50th Gala Ball Raises $67,000
Lutheran Community Care’s 50th Anniversary Gala Ball has been hailed a great success with 300 people attending and about $67,000 raised.
Held on Saturday in Adelaide’s CBD, people from the Church, government, community services sector and corporations all came together to support the important work LCC does with vulnerable people in SA and NT.
Guest speaker and LCC foster carer Amanda Blair captivated the audience and had them in stitches throughout the night, while many also enjoyed getting involved with the auctions and on the dance floor.
LCC Marketing and Communications Manager Amelia Dawkins said the generosity and kindness shown by people on the night was a huge blessing.
“As part of our live auction, guests had the opportunity to donate to specific LCC programs, including Emergency Relief and our Kwatja Etatha playgroup in Alice Springs,” Amelia said.
“We were blown away by the generosity. The proceeds will enable LCC to continue to change lives in our local communities and share the unconditional love of Jesus to those in need.”
