LDS announces new CEO
Lutheran Disability Services (LDS) has announced that their new CEO will be Michael Kromwyk (pictured above). Michael will take over from John van Ruth, who will retire at the end of June.
Michael is currently the Chief Operating Officer at LDS and has an extensive background in NDIS-supported Independent Living, marketing, sales and corporate strategy. Michael has previously worked for organisations including RAA and Bedford, as well as in the SA Government sector. He holds a Bachelor of Theology from Flinders University and a Master of Business Administration from University of South Australia.
Kym Wallent, LDS Board Chair, says the Board is excited that Michael has accepted the role and is confident he will continue the work of John and the team over the last three years.
‘LDS has sound strategic intent, which Michael will continue to implement and develop so that LDS continues to be a sustainable community in which our clients thrive, our homes are happy, our supporters are reassured, and our staff are skilled, committed and satisfied,’ he says.
Michael will commence as CEO on 3 July 2023.
