Lutheran Aged Care and Community Services Conference highlights
Recently, representatives from Lutheran Homes Group, Lutheran Homes Barossa (Tanunda Lutheran Home), Riverview Rest Home Loxton, Murray Bridge Lutheran Village, Valley of Praise Retirement Village, Victor Harbor Lutheran Homes, Lutheran Care and Lutheran Disability Services formed the South Australian contingent at the Lutheran Aged Care and Community Services Conference in Brisbane. They were joined by Bishop Andrew Brook and District Administrator Angela Rogers.
The conference was an opportunity for members of all the care agencies of the church to gather and share news from within our entities and the sector, along with some real-life stories that enabled everyone to learn new strategies for clients and their families. There were group discussions and panel presentations about good governance and the need for a skills-based board committed to our Lutheran ethos.
Attendees committed to continuing to support the Relationship Manager role in an expanded format, and we look forward to the benefits of this role. Mary has done an amazing job of connecting everyone and representing our entities so well to outside providers and industry bodies that people now know that Lutheran entities provide excellent care to all their clients.
